Enum DataType
java.lang.Object
java.lang.Enum<DataType>
org.rhq.core.domain.measurement.DataType
- All Implemented Interfaces:
- Serializable, Comparable<DataType>
public enum DataType
- extends Enum<DataType>
Describe the type of data that is to be collected. The typical type is "measurement" (i.e. numeric) data that
normally changes over time (see NumericType
for further classification of this kind of data). A "trait" is
typically a value that changes rarely (e.g. number of CPUs on a platform, or an install path). "Complex" data is
tabular in nature with N columns of N rows of values. Call-time data is the min/max/avg call durations for each
destination (e.g. URL or session EJB method) in a set of destinations.

values
public static DataType[] values()
- Returns an array containing the constants of this enum type, in
the order they are declared. This method may be used to iterate
over the constants as follows:
for (DataType c : DataType.values())
System.out.println(c);
- Returns:
- an array containing the constants of this enum type, in
the order they are declared

enum constant in this type. (Extraneous whitespace characters are
not permitted.)
- Parameters:
name
- the name of the enum constant to be returned.
- Returns:
- the enum constant with the specified name
- Throws:
