HTS must be run using the root account.
Certification to be run with SELinux enabled, Targeted Policy, with Enforcing on. The suite will test for this and fail otherwise. The Firewall must be disabled.
Certification to be run for RHEL set to the en_US locale.
The memory test will fully allocate physical memory. Be sure that adequate swap space is configured.
Create the test plan by running: hts plan
To review the test plan use: hts print --report plan To add, enable, or disable planned items use: hts plan --[add|enable|disable] --test={testname} --udi={hal_hardware_address}
Execute the test plan: hts certify --server {Network Test Server}
After the testing has completed the results can be reviewed using: hts print --last If one or more of the tests fail, they may be repeated by using: hts certify --test={testname} --udi={hal_hardware_address} If problems still exist, report the issue to hwcert-support@redhat.com
When testing is completed, the results package can be built by: hts submit Packages will be copied to /var/hts.
