Thessalonica for OpenOffice.org

Version 3.0

(c) Alexej Kryukov, 2003–2007

Thessalonica is an add-on package for OpenOffice.org 2.1 and above. It provides Universal Converter for multilingual documents and powerful Keyboard Manager, allowing to input accented character by the most natural way.

I’ve called my package Thessalonica (Θεσσαλονίκη in Greek) in honor of Saint Cyril and Methodius, “Apostles of the Slavs”, who originated from this city. Thessalonica is especially useful for classicists and anybody who works with documents containing polytonic Greek characters.

Supporting Thessalonica

If you like Thessalonica and use it in your work, please remember that there are internal bugs in OpenOffice.org itself, which makes developing Thessalonica more difficult. So consider supporting some issues I’ve created at http://www.openoffice.org. See the section about known bugs and limitations in this reference manual for additional information.
