Help using help

To access this help manual, either go to OpenOffice.org “Help” menu and select the “Thessalonica reference manual” item, or click the “Help” button in any of Thessalonica’s dialogs. On Windows this help will be displayed in your default browser, so no additional settings are required. On *nix systems OpenOffice.org now attempts to figure out the preferred browser depending from the current environment and the active window manager. For example, HTML files are opened in Konqueror, if you are running OpenOffice.org under KDE. If you don’t like the default choice, you can override it by defining the BROWSER environment variable (this variable should refer to the path to your favorite browser executable).

By default the language of your OpenOffice.org installation (or English, if help for this language is not available) is used to display help pages. If you’d like prefer to browse help in another language, do the following:
