Preconditions of test:

Mac OS X version of OpenOffice.org SRC680m226+CWS:macosxspellchecker.
  1. Start Applications / TextEdit
  2. Type in the three incorrect words 'newa', 'betta', 'schnecka'
  3. Select one word after the other and open at each the context menu (right mouse click) and select 'learn spelling'

  1. Start OpenOffice.org application in /Applications/...
  2. Tools / Options / Language Settings / Writing Aids
  3. In the section Writing aids in the Available language modules list the Mac OS X Spell Checker should be listed
  4. Leave the dialog with [CANCEL]

Three words from the system spell checker Status: Standard -

  1. Start OpenOffice.org application in /Applications/...
  2. File / New / Text
  3. Type the three words you have typed in in the precondition section
    • OpenOffice.org should not underline (red) the three words because the Mac OS X Spell Checker is knowing these words as correct

Detecting removed words in system spell checker Status: Standard -

  1. See in section references how to remove a learned word in TextEdit and remove the three words from the section preconditions
  2. Start OpenOffice.org application in /Applications/...
  3. Type the three words you have typed in in the precondition section
    • OpenOffice.org should underline the three words red because the Mac OS X Spell Checker is not knowing anymore these words
