DENVER, Colo. -- A Colorado man set a world record by diving head-first into a pool with only 12 inches of water.

Darren Taylor jumped off a 35-foot platform into a kiddie pool in front of a crowd of cheering fans.
"The pain lasts for a minute but the glory lasts for a lifetime," Taylor said after the jump.Local 6 showed video of Taylor landing in the water face first.Taylor's pool has a large pad to help minimize the impact of the dive.Taylor, who broke his own record with the dive, said the latest jump is his last.Watch Local 6 News for more on this story.
