Syntax: AOP channel ADD nickname
AOP channel DEL nickname
AOP channel LIST [+start] [mask]
AOP channel COUNT
Maintains the AutoOp (AOP) list for a channel. Users with AOP status are automatically opped (set mode +o) when they join the channel.
An AOP can modify the HOP, VOP, and NOP lists; SOPs can modify the AOP list.
The AOP ADD command adds a user to the AOP list, and the AOP DEL command removes a user from the AOP list. Note that a user can only be on one channel access list at once; if the user given in an AOP ADD command is already on another channel access list, such as the VOP list, they will be removed from that list first. (If you would not be allowed to modify that list--for example, if the user is already on the SOP list and you are not the channel founder--then the AOP ADD command will fail.)
The AOP LIST command displays the AOP list. If a wildcard mask is given, only those entries matching the mask are displayed. If the start parameter is given, it specifies how many matches to skip before displaying results (for example, +50 would cause the first 50 matches to be skipped).
The AOP COUNT command shows the number of entries there are are on the AOP list.
