1) load frame.html 2) press button "write window" 3) this is making a new window containing the plain text .. this is a plain text written by makeProt(called by frame ). 4) "view page source": is responding with this text: this is a plain text written by makeProt(called by frame ). 5) "view page info" is answering e.g.: Address: file:///own/frage/called.xml 6) "save page as" is saving a copy of the file called.xml (I think, the content of save page should be correlated to the text shown by 'view page source') 7) Saving of this protocol file will attempt to save a file "index" - and isn't saving anything. (I think, plain text instead of DOM source should also be stored) 8) Reloading this page: the plain text is evaluated as HTML source title of the 'reloaded' page: "this is a plain text" content of the 'reloaded' page: "written by makeProt(called by frame )." (I think, reloading shouldn't change the MIME type) 8) saving this page: - again saving called.xml (I think I've seen that frequently and just in the moment, but ... I'm a bit confused now ...) - or saving called.xml.html containing e.g. this is a plain text written by makeProt(called by frame ). 9) "view page source" of the reloaded page is responding with: this is a plain text written by makeProt(called by frame ). - but saving this page is now generating the 16bit encoded file called.xml.html - or the file index (no saving!) 10) saving this page is now generating the 16bit encoded file - called.xml.html containing not the text shown but the html text: this is a plain textwritten by makeProt(called by frame ). - or showing a menu to save the file index (following: no saving!) 11) reloading of "this is a plain text" while the source file is open may give the nice effect: Security Error: Content at wyciwyg://42/file:///own/frage/called.xml may not load or link to file:///own/frage/called.xml. MINEFIELD 3.0a5: source file unreadable in the default view format because of FF-chars (form feed). (this remark is perhaps a duplicate of error 358653) readible text after "reload" (firefox 2.0 is showing blanks instead of FFs) Increasing/decreasing char size without function. Saving this protocol(!) of the source file was not successful (file not to be found after saving, even in an empty directory), even after setting the name explicitely, changing the character encoding .. not defined, but used by this build: http://www.mozilla.org/projects/firefox/3.0a5pre/releasenotes/ Request at "File Quit": Cancel All Downloads? If you exit now, 9 downloads will be canceled. Are you sure you want to exit? Don't exit Cancel 9 Downloads (I've not requested downloads explicitely. It would be nice, when the name of files to download would be written) When seeking for the protocol file, I've accidently found sometimes a new file 'mop4' Adobe file created by cairo 1.4.2 in my home dir, see appended files.
