Ok, if you came from step2, you will see that this text is in the same size as it was in previous step. Even if there was "target" directive (but it was not _top).

Conclusions

So, we have at least one of following two problems (matter of point of view):
  1. windows, whose contents is changed via links containing target="_top" are rendered in incorect font size.
  2. windows, whose contents is changed via links containing target="_top" takes incorect initial font size in response to Ctrl-+ and Ctrl-- key presses.
Personally I would vote #1. There are number of situations when web applications have to change all the contents of the windows. And if I as a user of such application found that it is in too big (or small) fonts, then I most likely will not change my mind on the occasion when application needs to add or remove some frame.

I get mad about this functionality when got to change font size when tried to use Bonsai-Seamonkey sidebar panel. When I select new item (no matter - from sidebar or next/prev in the same window) I have to readjust font size. It's contrproductive. And I'm afraid that situation is the same with all sidebar apps that go via my.netscape.com :-(((
