You will need to "Grant" the requested security privilege for this tool to save pages on your hard disk.
Currently the Save option is still a part of the main properties script, which I have not actually digitally signed, yet; so you will need to edit following line in your prefs.js for special codebase principal support in order to save a page file:
user_pref("signed.applets.codebase_principal_support", true);

On-line: Visual DHTML runs from a Navigator client window and can be hosted on-line from standard HTTP Web servers. Therefore, virtually no disk space, no installation, and no update processes are required for users, unlike traditional software applications.
Off-line: You can also run Visual DHTML off-line from your computer's local hard disk. Soon we will also be providing an archive that you can download and extract containing all of the files for Visual DHTML so you can run it locally.
To view your DHTML pages off-line, save the visual.js file to your hard drive and point to it locally from within your code, similar to the following SCRIPT tag:
