Getting Started

Start by opening a "New Page". This will give you a new "Preview Page" window to develop with, like with the demo. Then select from the Menubar or Widgets palette to add items to your page.

Don't hesitate to experiment. You can use the "Undo" and "Redo" options to go to your previous setting and re-set things at any time like traditional authoring tools.

During the development of your page you can also drag your items around and re-position them. For more helpful information, checkout the demo, support, or other Help menu options.

"Drag and Drop"

All items that you add to your page become individual "Drag and Drop" components within your page.

For Special Drag, click down with your left mouse button and then drag your item to where you want whenever you want. During the development of your page you can drag your items around and re-position them at any time...

Saving Your Page

You can save your Preview Page at any time during the development of your page. The following are some different ways to save it:

Visual DHTML (beta)

"Visual DHTML" is a visual development tool that's written in Dynamic HTML (DHTML) and let's you create your own DHTML-based content without writing any code yourself, including dynamic kiosk-style pages, webtops, channels, "Add Channel" pages, and "Preview Channel" pages for Netcaster as well as other DHTML wizardry.

Also, if you like something about the functionality of this tool, look at source code of this app or send email to dhtml-feedback@netscape.com. ...

By the way, more items and widgets are coming soon!
