Bill explained a little more about the K-powered
race car that they hope to build. They're actually looking at a
streetable kit (ya, baby!) which would utilize modified K1200
engines putting out up to 180 b.h.p. and weigh under 1,000 lbs. I
don't know what it would look like, but the concept would be along
the lines of the Caterham Super Seven (originally a Colin Chapman
Lotus design). Time to start planning for that five car garage!
I forget the name, but there is a open wheel series that
uses K-motors as the powertrain. Pretty darn cool!
If they
build it, we will come.
