DOM API Core Level 1 Bug Test Cases

DOM Test are located on Server "cebu" in directory /opt/DOMTest/bugsrc

To execute the tests from server 'cebu'
 

Rlogin to 'cebu' as yourself

• cd /opt/DOMTest/bugsrc

• source /opt/DOMTest/bugsrc/bugmozilla.csh

• cd  /opt/mozilla/dist/bin

• Open the file 'BWTestClass.lst' .  This lists out all the test cases.  You could comment off the  ones u do not require (by '#' mark).

• Execute the following from command line.
• ./apprunner http://sunny1/~rpallath/z.html
It tries to go sequentially though the 'BWTestClass.lst' file (discard commented lines) and tries to execute each test case.
If it fails in one test case it will not proceed ahead.
If you do want to test the others, just comment the test case which is failing.

The file 'BWTestClass.lst' is not a hard-coded file. You can have any name for the file. This indication is made in 'BWProperties' which is located in the place where the executable apprunner is located
(in our case /opt/mozilla/dist/bin).

Sample BWProperties file is shown below

BW_TESTDIR=/opt/DOMTest/bugsrc
BW_TESTFILE=BWTestClass.lst
BW_LOGDIR=/opt/DOMTest/log
BW_LOGFILE=BWTest.log
