- The Treo 650 and a disturbing trend
Along with its higher-resolution screen, removable battery, and faster processor, the new Treo 650 boasts Bluetooth. In theory, that means you can use hands-free headsets, communicate with Bluetooth-enabled cars, transfer files wirelessly, and use your Treo as a modem. But Sprint has apparently crippled the Treo 650's Bluetooth capabilities so that you can't perform the modem trick. Verizon has done a similar trick with the Motorola V710. After all, why should you be entitled to all the technology you pay for? AT&T is looking pretty good... - Are you ready for some mayhem?
Today's the official release date for Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, the latest installment in the controversial and wildly popular Grand Theft Auto franchise. Critics say the games promote violence against police officers, pedestrians, women, cars, Haitians, rival gangs, and basically everything that moves. A Vodafone spokeswoman, assuring us the Peeping Tom add-on won't be coming to the United States, delivers the Best Quote Ever: "We would never go to market with a phone with any kind of capacity to see people naked." Let's hope not. - Send us buzz

Creative Zen Micro (5GB, black)
Why you'll want it:
Move over, iPod Mini, there's some colorful new competition in town!
With 1GB more memory and a similar size and weight (0.1 inch smaller,
0.1 ounce heavier) than the Mini, the Zen Micro also comes in 10
colors. Add to that MP3 and protected WMA support, an FM tuner and FM
and voice recording, and we think the Micro has a lot of might.
