Vendor Relations
|
Welcome
to Gartner Vendor Relations. Our Mission is to maximize the value of
the mutual relationship and interactions between Gartner and IT
Vendors. Our charter is to be a global, corporate function to
enhance Gartner's integrity, objectivity and independence by actively
managing vendor relationships and by providing the ombudsman's role
during difficult situations. Our objectives are to protect the
Gartner brand; to ensure the integrity of the research process; and to
manage the distinction between the client relationship and the research
relationship. We approach this by actively engaging vendors in
an ongoing dialogue with "a fresh set of eyes" focal point for
interaction, but not the only point. Provide consistent vendor
relations policies across Gartner's lines of business.

Vendor Briefings |
|
|
As
an IT Vendor, you may request a Vendor Briefing with a Gartner analyst.
Vendor Briefings are sessions conducted by our analysts to assist them
in researching vendor technologies, business plans, and strategies.
Briefings may be live or via audio conference. Your request will be
considered, but briefings will be scheduled based on the analyst's
research agenda.
Gartner encourages vendors who may
not be Gartner clients to brief its analysts on their product &
services. To request a briefing, send an e-mail to vendor.briefings@gartner.com
