App Nap inschakelen: App Nap is a feature that allows the computer to slow idle background applications so that they consume less energy. However, the performance of some applications is degraded, resulting in recurring and unusual delays. It is sometimes useful to turn off App Nap.

Gatekeeper inschakelen: Gatekeeper is a macOS feature designed to protect your Mac from malware and misbehaving apps downloaded from the internet.
You can view Gatekeeper options by choosing the Apple menu () > System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General tab and then looking below the header "Allow applications downloaded from:". There are two options: App Store (allow apps to open only if they were downloaded from the App Store) and App Store and identified developers (allow apps to open only if they were downloaded from the App Store or if they were registered with Apple by an identified developer).
The "Turn off Gatekeeper" feature adds a third option: Anywhere (allow apps to open regardless of their source on the internet).

Turn on font smoothing for non-Retina displays: You can use this option to turn on font smoothing (subpixel-antialiasing) for users with non-Retina displays.
This function will only take effect after restarting.
