Congratulations! Two days ago, we shipped your TimeStack™ to you and sent you a fulfillment email containing your tracking number. Because we want you to get off to a great start, we’ve included some information below that will help you get up to speed quickly and get the most from your new TimeStack.
How to Care for Your TimeStack
- Do not expose your TimeStack to temperatures above 122°F (50°C).
- Never affix magnets to hot surface.
- While your TimeStack is splash-proof, it is not fully waterproof. Avoid fully submerging it.
- Be sure the battery cover is tightly secured after replacing the battery, otherwise your TimeStack’s water resistance may be affected.
Important to Know
- TimeStack includes four volume levels and a mute option. Press VOL to selected the desired level. Note: The Mute option only silences the alarm; the buttons will still beep when pressed.
- Each timer has a distinct beep pattern to help identify which alarm is sounding. The beep pattern is used when there is no voice recording.
- Timer One: One beep, followed by a pause
- Timer Two: Two beeps, followed by a pause
- Timer Three: Three beeps, followed by a pause
- Timer Four: Four beeps, followed by a pause
- If another alarm sounds when an alarm is already sounding, the new alarm will take over.
- To help preserve battery life, after one minute of continuously sounding an alarm, TimeStack will beep for 5 seconds every 30 seconds. This will repeat until silenced by a button push.
- Press the backlight button to illuminate TimeStack’s screen for 10 seconds.
How to Set the Count-down Timer
- Push the SET button to the left of the alarm you wish to set. The digits will begin to flash.
- Enter the time value with the numbered buttons.
- To immediately begin the countdown, press START/STOP button.
- If you wish to start the countdown later, press the SET button to confirm the time value. Press the alarm’s START/STOP button when you are ready to begin the countdown.
Note: Your TimeStack will retain the last timer value entered in memory. Pressing SET recalls the value last used. If you wish to enter a different count-down value, hit the CLEAR button before setting the timer value.
How to Record a Voice Alarm
- Press the SET button on the timer you wish to record. The digits will begin to flash.
- Press and hold the REC button for 3 seconds. After the beep, you can begin recording. Continue holding the REC button down while you record your message.
- Release the REC button once you have finished. TimeStack will play back your recorded message. If you like what you hear, press SET.
- If you wish to re-record your message, hold the REC button down and repeat the process.
Note: To change the volume of the voice alarm, push the VOL button until you have selected the desired volume level.
Important: Directions for recording voice alarms are printed on the bottom of the TimeStack timer.
How to Clear a Voice Alarm
- Press the SET button on the timer you wish to clear. The digits will begin to flash.
- Press REC once. The RECORD indicator will begin to flash.
- Press CLEAR to delete recording and revert back to the timer’s default alarm.
- Press SET to finish.
Important: Directions for clearing voice alarms are printed on the bottom of the TimeStack timer.
About Alarm Tone Frequencies
TimeStack includes adjustable frequency levels for the beeping alarms. This feature you to select the frequency level that works best for you.
- The default is 2kHz. Select Tone 2 for 1kHZ or Tone 3 for 500 Hz. (The lower the frequency, the deeper the tone.)
- Each timer can use a different alarm frequency tone.
- The TONE indicator only appears when a timer isn’t using a voice-recorded alarm.
To change an Alarm’s Frequency Tone
- Press the SET button on the timer you wish to adjust.
- When the digits begin to flash, press VOL to toggle between Tones 1, 2, and 3.
- Press SET to end.
