Thanks for your reply and for looking into this.

I created a sample document based on the document I use at work that has been giving me trouble.  I have attached the file.

I use Debian testing at home which currently runs LO 3.5.4.2.  The file works correctly in my home environment but did not work earlier today at work using Win XP with LO 4.0.0.3.

Can you attach a document that has several variables so we can test it out?
